In 2007, NAFE celebrated its 35th anniversary. The National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) was founded in 1972. The organization has a rich history of providing education, networking, and public advocacy to empower its members to achieve career success and financial security. Members are female executives, women business owners and others who are committed to NAFE's mission: the advancement of women in the workplace. |
NAFE is owned by Working Mother Media (WMM), which includes Working Mother and NAFE Magazine, the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE), WMM Business Advisory Services, and a Conferences & Special Events division that produces the 100 Best Companies WorkLife Congress, the Best Companies for Women of Color Conference, and the NAFE National Conference, among other events. |
In January 2007, WMM acquired Public Affairs Group, Inc. and its membership organization Business Women's Network (BWN). All BWN members are now NAFE members - welcome! |

To enhance the workplace of DFAS-IN by increasing training, self-esteem, energy, and enthusiasm about employee's jobs and careers. |
To share information regarding career growth, business, community involvement, and education for people to bring them together in networking situations in and out of the workplace. |
